Her Health Place app: privacy notice
Last updated October 3, 2026.
The short version
- The app never asks about your health.
- The guides, the question builder and the story of the platform work without giving us anything.
- If you join as a Founding Member or ask us to stay in touch, we receive the contact and interest details you enter, and nothing else.
- We don't sell your information, show ads or track you across other apps and websites.
- You can withdraw at any time, and we delete your record.
Who we are
Her Health Place is being built by Martin Heyne and Raye Heyne. Until Her Health Place is formed as a company, we are the people responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@herhealthplace.com.
What stays on your device
These stay on your iPhone or iPad, or in your browser if you use herhealthplace.com/app, and are never sent to us: the role you chose, the steps you tick in the guides, the questions you star and their order, a sign-up waiting for a connection, and, after you join in the app, a receipt that lets you withdraw from the app. Deleting the app, or clearing your browser's data for this site, deletes them.
What we receive if you join
Joining is optional. If you join, we receive only what you enter, plus a few details the app adds:
| What | Who is asked | Required |
|---|---|---|
| How you're joining (your role) | Everyone | Yes |
| Name | Everyone | Yes, except for "someone else" |
| Email address | Everyone | Yes |
| Consent to be contacted, with its date and wording | Everyone | Yes |
| Consent to occasional updates | Everyone | No |
| Organization and title | Practitioners, investors, founders, health systems, payers, employers, press | No |
| Practice type | Practitioners | Yes |
| Specialty and state | Practitioners | No |
| ZIP code | Women joining for their own care | No |
| Typical check size and stage focus | Investors | No |
| Your answer to one multiple-choice question | Most roles | No |
| Up to three features you'd like built first | Everyone | No |
| Whether you'd talk to us for 20 minutes | Everyone | No |
| Whether you'd like a meeting or our deck | Investors, health systems, payers, employers | No |
| Where we met, and whether you came from a QR code or a link | Added by the app | Automatic |
| App version and device type (iPhone or iPad) | Added by the app | Automatic |
If you ask us to stay in touch instead of joining, we ask only for your role, name, email address, organization (if you have one) and the two consents.
When you confirm your email we record the date and, if you joined as a Founding Member, give you a founding member number. When you click a link in one of our emails or reply to us, we record the date, which decides how long we keep your record.
People we meet in person
At meetings and dinners, Martin or Raye may note your name, your email address or phone number, your role, where we met, a short note and whether to follow up, with your agreement. We then email you a link to confirm. If you don't confirm or reply, the note is deleted after 90 days.
Booking a meeting with Raye
When you book a meeting, we collect your name, email, the meeting type and time, your time zone, how you'd like to meet, and your answers to that type's questions. We use them only to arrange, hold and follow up on the meeting. They're stored in our database (Supabase, US), added to Raye's calendars (Microsoft 365 and Apple iCloud), and emailed to Raye and hello@herhealthplace.com. We delete booking records 24 months after the meeting. Cancel through the link in your confirmation, or ask us to delete your details at hello@herhealthplace.com.
What we never collect
No health information of any kind: no symptoms, conditions, medications or diagnoses. No location, no contacts, no photos, and no advertising identifier.
Anonymous usage counts
The app counts a short, fixed list of events: which screens are opened, how far people get in the story of the platform, which guides are completed and how often question lists are shared. These counts carry no name, email address, device identifier or text you typed, and they are not linked to a sign-up.
How we use what you give us
- To send the email that confirms your sign-up and, if you agreed, occasional updates.
- To contact you about the Founding Member program, including the research conversation if you offered one, or about Her Health Place if you asked us to stay in touch.
- To answer meeting and deck requests. A person reads each one; nothing is sent automatically.
- To see how many people are interested, by role and by event.
We don't sell or rent your information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone to market to you.
Who handles it for us
- Supabase stores sign-ups and meeting bookings in a database in the United States.
- Microsoft 365 sends our emails, from hello@herhealthplace.com and raye@herhealthplace.com, holds the replies, and holds booked meetings in Raye's calendar.
- Apple iCloud holds Raye's personal calendar, where a booked meeting is noted.
- Cloudflare runs the booking page. Like any website, it sees the visitor's internet address, and uses it to keep out automated abuse.
- GoDaddy hosts herhealthplace.com, its web version, and the guides and questions the app checks for updates. Like any website, it sees the device's internet address when the app checks, and keeps it only in routine server logs.
They handle your information only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
| Status | How someone gets there | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Unconfirmed sign-up | Joined in the app or on the website, but never confirmed their email | 30 days, then deleted. Reminders on day 3 and day 14 |
| Unconfirmed contact met in person | Noted by Martin or Raye at a meeting or dinner, and hasn't confirmed or replied | 90 days, then deleted |
| Confirmed contact | Confirmed or replied; joined as a practitioner, investor, founder, health system, payer, employer or press | 24 months from the last contact, then deleted unless they confirm again |
| Waitlist or updates only | Confirmed, and joined the waitlist or updates and nothing more | Until you unsubscribe, and deleted after 12 months with no clicks or replies |
| Meeting booking | Booked a meeting with Raye | 24 months after the meeting, then deleted |
Opening an email doesn't count as contact; clicking a link in it or replying does. After we delete a record, we keep only a scrambled, one-way form of the email address, so that someone who unsubscribed is never added back by mistake.
Your choices
- Withdraw from the app: Settings, then Withdraw my sign-up. Your record is deleted.
- Unsubscribe: use the link at the bottom of any email from us.
- Ask us: write to hello@herhealthplace.com to see what we hold about you, correct it or delete it.
Security
The app sends your sign-up over an encrypted connection. It can add a sign-up to our database but cannot read anything back. Only Martin and Raye can see sign-ups.
Children
The app is not meant for children, and joining is for adults 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top, and tell Founding Members and everyone who asked us to stay in touch by email about any significant change.
